Food was so good and so was the service. Kinda dark for dinner but everything else made up for it. Will definitely be returning

While in Louisiana, I figured I'd try out an upscale restaurant for a weekday lunch. I sat at the bar, and enjoyed the relaxed atmosphere. My server, a true Louisiana native with the thickest accent, gave me a rundown of what's popular on the menu. I opted for the lobster bique and Caesar salad because I already had my heart set on the dessert menu. If I were feeling gluttonous, I would've wolfed down a few slices of their oh-so-fresh bread. However, I behaved and ate one piece. The bique and salad were as expected. Tasty. No complaints. I was excited to see crème brûlée on the menu. Since this is an upscale establishment, I assumed it would be good. My assumption was correct! It was super creamy, but the crisp, sweet melt-in-your-mouth crust was the star. Based on the food, the great service, and the atmosphere, I'll surely return.

My family had dinner here on Sunday night. The interior decor is very nice, similar to the style of other elegant steakhouses. The service was good. We self-parked but it appeared they provide complimentary valet services. I don't understand why the rating for this restaurant is so low. The steaks (my wife had the bone-in ribeye, I had the Kansas City strip) were as good as any steakhouse we've been too. I had a half wedge as a starter, which was very good. My daughter had the spaghetti and meatballs (odd offering at a steakhouse, but I could not talk her out of it). It was good as well. If we're ever in Shreveport again, I would definitely go back!

Came here for a company dinner. Pricey, as with any upscale steakhouse. The variety if spirits and wine on the menu was impressive. My entrée, the Alaskan Halibut ($57.95) with crab risotto, was delicious! I had some bites of the New York Strip, mac and cheese side, and corn, and they were all tasty. The biggest highlight was the enormous cheesecake for dessert ($10.50). OMG, that was the best cheesecake I've ever eaten, with the thickest graham cookie crust. I'd skip the lobster bisque--very salty with just a few small pieces of lobster. Nice for spread dips though :) Staff was very attentive and polite. The interior is sophisticated and immaculate.

Shreveport's only true steakhouse, Superior Steakhouse is a wonderful place to dine for any occasion. Whether having a business meeting, date night, or entertaining out of town guests - there is something for everyone. The lunch specials are great for taking clients to eat, and the bar is a nice place to spend time with friends. Staff is extremely knowledgeable about the large menu, and we've yet to have a bad experience. Steak not your thing? They have you covered with a very impressive seafood menu plus great sushi dishes if you're looking for that. You won't regret eating with the great folks here.

Stopped in at Superior for a business lunch and we sat in the bar. The restaurant is a nod to old style steak houses, the bar itself has a nice relaxed look with plenty of windows and room to people watch inside or outside The lunch menu has plenty of options and a variety that will make you come back again . I started with the superior salad which comes with special house dressing. No complaints here, an ample size only caution i would give is the greens were highly dressed which doesnt bother me but others may not appreciate For entree I had the trout amandine , great size filet with a side of cheesy grits Service was fantastic - overall a great enviroment and lunch to talk business My guest

Honestly I've tried Superior multiple times and although the atmosphere is very classy and upscale, the food doesn't live up to the hype. Service is very attentive and you always have a full water. The bread is delicious and tastes fresh baked. I order my steak medium and often times it's over cooked and I long for more seasoning on a sear. The creme brûlée is standard. It's a good place to eat, but I think there are better steakhouses in town that offer more tasty eats, both casual and upscale dining.

Superior Steakhouse doesn't miss. That is as long as everyone has not purchased all of the oysters before I arrive I came in specifically for the chargrilled oysters (I mean just look at the picture!) and had a great dining experience. Saturday night there was live music in the bar area creating a true vibe. The bartender was very professional and was such a nice lady. She seemed to give every customer a personal experience (which is truly a gift!)
